How to get to...

By the train: to San Benedetto del Tronto / Grottammare.
Airports for commercial and budget flights are Ancona Falconara (~100km) and Pescara d’Abruzzo (~85km).

From the North, via E55 to Pedaso at km 288; on the SS16 to Cupra Marittima and on the SP91 (Valmenocchia) in the direction to Carassai passing through Villa Santi. Do not turn left at km 4,5 to Ripatransone, keep straight on to km 12; now turn left direction Ripatransone/Cantina dei Colli Ripani (SP75) and  keep left. Approx.1 km after the Cantina at
km 1,65 La Casa di Petra to be found left below the road opposite the sign “Contrada Colle del Giglio”.

From the direction Rome via the A24 to the A14; past San Benedetto del Tronto to the Grottammare Exit at km 301; leave the A14 in direction Ripatransone (SP92). Behind a roundabout and at a town entrance with traffic lights keep left, ignore the 1st exit to Ripatransone at 12km. Take the 2nd exit (2,5km further) right and hillup (Contrada Fonte Antica). At the end of the twisting route (3.5km) turn left in direction Cossignano; after 500 mtrs keep right direction (SP75)  Carassai, passing the church Madonna del Carmine. After 1.65 km you find La Casa di Petra directly righthand below the SP75 opposite the sign Contrada Colle del Giglio. The sign Contrada Acquasanta (0,35 km before) must be ignored!
